    Damaged product, poor customer service

    I purchased an 82” vanity from Vanities Depot 30 days ago. My contractor opened the package and a marble countertop piece was obviously damaged at their factory as the packaging was perfectly intact. I called and emailed with pictures of proof to get a replacement piece (worth $700 of the $6000 we spent with vanities depot). I got no response to my email and spoke to an extremely rude representative through the number provided on their website. She made me feel stupid for even calling and said their return policy is 48 HOURS to report any damages. We kept the pieces in packaging until the bathroom was ready for installation. My contractor also contacted vanities depot and talked to the same representative who was very rude to him, also. He was referring clients to Vanities Depot, but he will not continue to do so after this experience. My initial plan was to take vanities depot to small claims court. However, after consulting my attorney, I have been advised to first contact the attorney general and the Better Business Bureau. I have contacted Vanities Depot again on their website, and if I do not get a response in a timely manner, I will proceed with my current plan of action. Do NOT purchase from Vanities Depot. They do not value their customers.
